How a provider gets connected
The gateway holds one upstream account per provider. The routing code for every provider listed here is already written and tested; connecting one is a credentials change, not a release. The moment it is connected, every model it serves becomes available to all existing API keys instantly, billed from the same balance. Until then requests to those models return a clear error rather than failing silently.
