rapidrouter-mcp is a stdio MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that puts Rapid Router inside Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and any other MCP client. It exposes four tools: search_models searches the live catalog by substring with optional kind and price-ceiling filters, get_model returns one model's full catalog row with its prices, chat sends a prompt to any model and reports the answer with usage and billed cost, and account_balance shows your credit balance. The catalog tools need no key; chat and account_balance read RAPIDROUTER_API_KEY from the environment.
